InterPro is a successful, financially stable, private company with offices in Phoenix and Washington D.C. It is supported through the ownership of Corstone Capital, a private investment group specializing in outsourcing services. Since 2003, InterPro has served a diverse group of clients, including hospitals, physician groups and clinics around the U.S. Every one of our clients will serve as a positive reference in support of our business model.
The InterPro leadership team is made up of HIM-experienced professionals who oversee a network of highly trained, highly credentialed specialists.
Roberta Podzius, President & CEO
Roberta leads a national team responsible for working with medical facilities across the United States to ensure the delivery of prompt and accurate healthcare documentation.
During her nearly thirty years in the healthcare documentation industry, Roberta has performed in management and executive roles with several top-tier medical facilities and research institutions. She managed the medical transcription division at a world-renowned Scottsdale clinic, and then became the department head at a nationally recognized geriatric and research multi-hospital system. Roberta also served as Regional Director of a national medical transcription company, where she spearheaded the research and development team that implemented one of the industry’s first web-based dictation and transcription platforms. Prior to joining InterPro, Roberta served as the Vice President of Consulting and Transcription Services with a prominent national transcription consulting firm.
Brigid Holland, CPC, CHP, CPEHR, National Director of HIM Services
Brigid leads the Coding and Compliance team for InterPro and is responsible for delivering high quality coding and auditing services to our clients. With over 30 years in the healthcare industry, Brigid has operational experience in HIM management, workflow analysis, performance benchmarking and auditing. Brigid has worked in a variety of settings including top rated rural hospitals, large integrated healthcare systems and consulting firms.
Brigid is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association and the American Academy of Professional Coders.
Cindy Stark, Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development for Corstone Capital, Cindy is involved in the new business development activities of InterPro Health and works closely with the management team on strategic growth and development planning.
Ms. Stark has previously worked in the health care, recruitment and financial services industries as VP of sales, project development manager and has considerable experience with start-ups and turnarounds. She has worked closely with CEO/Presidents to identify and create new business ventures. She has proven ability to develop and expand successful companies in these fields and is a dynamic manager.
In addition to her duties with Corstone Capital, Ms. Stark devotes time to several civic and charitable organizations including Neediest Kid and the Lombardi Cancer Center. She has served as a Corstone Capital liaison to many political and charitable organizations.
InterPro is owned by Corstone Capital, a private equity firm. Corstone leadership is actively involved in supporting business strategy as well as operational and financial management.
Albert Hawk, Chairman
Albert “Bud” Hawk is Chairman of InterPro and a Founder and Managing Partner of Corstone Capital. Prior to founding Corstone Capital, Mr. Hawk served as the CEO of a publicly traded company that pioneered wireless, reliable mobile computing products and services to public safety and other wireless markets.
Previously, Mr. Hawk was part of the executive team that grew a publicly traded natural resource and financial services holding company from negligible assets to over $400 million in revenue and $1.5 billion in assets from 1990 to 1993, at which time the companies were sold. Prior to his business career, Mr. Hawk was a member of the Washington D.C. office of a national law firm, where he practiced corporate and securities law. Mr. Hawk also served as an attorney for the U.S government in commodity and securities areas.
Mr. Hawk is a speaker before business groups and is active in the community. He also serves on the Board of Special Love, a not-for-profit devoted to children with cancer, and Neediest Kids, a not-for-profit devoted to inner city kids with special needs.
