Quality Speech Recognition
InterPro’s experienced integration of natural language processing (NLP) technologies has enabled many MTs to transition to the role of editor, using their skills to quickly and efficiently edit and complete draft documents produced by the NLP engine. When used intelligently, NLP can reduce document costs, improve turnaround time and improve quality – all resulting in quality transcriptions.
Quality Transcriptions and Turnaround Time (TAT)
A critical component of quality and quality transcriptions is delivering fast turnaround of transcribed reports. Our ability to consistently deliver reports quickly to our clients supports their goals in providing quality patient care as well as successful revenue cycle management. Delivering TAT results requires a focus on several areas:
- Effective Staffing: We ensure we have the right number of medical transcription professionals (MTs) assigned to the client’s work, properly scheduled. We assign MTs with the right experience and skill set, who are equipped to perform the client’s specific work types effectively.
- Technology: Through the Emdat™ system, transcription jobs are automatically prioritized and assigned based on pre-established standards. Clients can easily change a dictated job to STAT via the system, and monitor TAT results.
- Of course, it all comes back to quality. By employing a total quality system, we ensure that reports are done correctly, the first time, before submitting to the client.
